About our shop
Cactus Rose Optical is a small, independent optical boutique in Haskell, TX. We help you choose frames, order lenses, and keep your glasses fitting well — sales, repairs, and adjustments, all by appointment.
We are an Optical Shop, not an Optometrist. We do not perform eye exams. Bring a current prescription from your eye doctor, and we'll take care of the glasses. Looking for something specific? Tell us when you book — we can put together a personal selection of frames for your visit.
We want your visit to feel like West Texas hospitality with a rose on top: unhurried, personal, and careful with the details.
What we offer
- Browse our frame boards — everyday wear, fashion looks, and styles that work well with higher prescriptions.
- We’ll walk you through lens options: single vision, progressive, and other designs that fit how you see day to day.
- Coatings and extras you can choose from include anti-reflective, scratch resistance, blue-light filtering, Transitions, and polarization where it makes sense.
- We’ll help match frame shape, size, and lens choice so your new glasses look good and work for your prescription.
- We can often repair or replace common parts: screws, nosepads, temple tips, and many hinges.
- If a specialty part is needed, we can order it when it’s available — within practical limits of what manufacturers still support.
- Not every frame can be saved (age, discontinued parts, or severe damage), and we’ll tell you honestly what’s realistic before we start.
- Bring the glasses in and we’ll take a look, explain your options, and get you back to a wearable pair whenever we can.
- Adjustments are always FREE — no catch, no charge.
- With nearly 27 years in optical work, our Optician fine-tunes your frames with care — not guesswork.
- We adjust temples, nosepads, pantoscopic tilt, and overall balance so your glasses sit securely and comfortably.
